Google Business Profile help for contractors
We set up and look after the Google listing that homeowners see when they search for your trade nearby, plus the Yelp, Bing and Apple listings AI tools read. We work with concrete, paving, siding, roofing, HVAC, plumbing and other contractors anywhere in the US.

What every contractor listing needs
- The right service-area setup. If customers do not come to your address, Google lets you hide it and list the areas you serve instead (Google help).
- The right primary category. It is the one that best matches the work you most want, not the broadest one. We compare yours with the top 3 businesses Google shows for your main search.
- A services list. Each job type you actually do, described in plain words.
- Real job photos and posts that show recent work.
- Reviews, asked for the right way. A review link for every customer, never only the happy ones, and a reply to every review.
- Matching details everywhere. The same name, address and phone on Google, Yelp, Bing, Apple Maps, BBB, Angi and Houzz. If your state publishes a contractor license lookup, we check that the name there matches too.
By trade
- Concrete and paving: a primary category such as “Concrete contractor” or “Paving contractor”, and a services list that names driveways, patios, sidewalks, sealing or repairs.
- Siding: a primary category such as “Siding contractor”, and a services list that names installation, repair and replacement by material.
- Roofing: a primary category such as “Roofing contractor”, and a services list that names repairs, replacements and inspections.
- HVAC: a primary category such as “HVAC contractor”, and a services list that names installation, repair and maintenance plans.
- Plumbing: a primary category such as “Plumber”, and a services list that names repairs, water heaters and drain cleaning.
- Decks, fencing, pavers and other trades: the most specific category Google offers for the work you most want (for example “Deck builder” or “Fence contractor”), and a services list that names each job type you actually do.
Google’s category list is long, so we check the exact options for your trade during the audit. Some contractors fit two categories; we pick the main one with you and add the rest as secondary categories.
